Sasuke

Ep 107
Shikamaru is promoted to chuunin. Lee makes his decision to have the operation. Sasuke challenges Naruto to a fight on top of the hospital. The two are deadly serious about winning and each use their special attacks. Will Sakura be able to stop them or will she end up in the middle?

Ep 108
Kakashi stops the fight and admonishes Naruto and especially Sasuke, but Sasuke is still furious at how strong Naruto is and leaves. Kakashi and Jiriaya discuss the two genin and how their relationship is like Jiraiya's and Orochimaru's. Kakashi explains that Naruto has always been trying to catch up to Sasuke and the current Naruto wants recognition from Sasuke. Meanwhile Sasuke feels inferior as he sees Naruto getting stronger. Kakashi tracks down Sasuke and ties him to a tree to lecture him on the futility of revenge. But after Kakashi leaves, the Sound 4 attack!

Ep 109
Sasuke gets beaten by the Sound 4 but seriously considers their offer of power in exchange for losing his free will. Naruto and Sakura do on a "date" where Sakura tells Naruto about Sasuke's cursed seal. Later Sasuke makes his decision to leave, but Sakura is waiting for him. She desperately pleads for him to stay or take her with him.

Ep 110
Kotetsu and Izumo find Sakura asleep on the stone bench. They report to Tsunade that Sasuke has left the village. Tsunade gives Shikamaru his first mission as chuunin - to bring back Sasuke. Shikamaru recruits Naruto, Choji, Kiba and Neji for the mission as poor Lee and Sakura look on.

Ep 111
The Sound 4 inform Sasuke he must die once by taking a drug in order to forcibly awaken level 2 of the cursed seal. Sasuke is then placed into a barrel. Genma, Raidou, Shizune, and Iwashi return from a long mission. Genma and Raidou go to investigate a noise, find the Sound 4, and then engage them in combat. Shikamaru's team progresses slowly as they have to avoid many traps. They finally catch up to the Sound 4.

Ep 112
The team's plan doesn't work out and they become trapped in Jiroubou's earth dome. The dome is self-repairing and it's absorbing their chakra. How will they escape?

Ep 113:
Choji breaks them out of the earth dome and tells the rest of the team to continue pursuit while he fights one-on-one with Jiroubou. Choji takes his first special pill, but will that be enough against Jiroubou's cursed seal?

Ep 114:
Choji's second pill still isn't enough against Jiroubou's cursed seal level two. But if he takes the third one, it will mean death for Choji. Yet he can't forgive Jiroubou for insulting his best friend Shikamaru. (Lots of new flashbacks.)

Ep 115:
The team faces off against Kidoumaru who can shoot and spin webs from his mouth. Kidoumaru proves too strong for them and he has them all entwined. But Neji uses his jyuuken techniques to free himself and the others. Neji tells the rest of the team to continue the pursuit while he fights Kidoumaru.

Ep 116:
Neji uses jyuuken and hitts Kidoumaru multiple times at various tenketsu points, counting to 64 strikes. But Kidoumaru is able to secrete a substance over his body to protect himself. Both opponents analyze and test each other's ability. Kidoumaru summons a huge spider which produces a monstrous egg sac. Hundreds of spiders drop down on Neji to weave a chakra web while Kidoumaru throws spikes.

Ep 117:
Kidoumaru shoots the arrow predicting 100% accuracy, but it misses Neji's vital spot by 15 centimeters. Kidoumaru analyzes that Neji has a blind spot. Kidoumaru makes another arrow this time leaving a thread on the end to guide it, but misses again. Kidoumaru makes another arrow with a twisted tip to keep it on course even if it hits a tree. The arrows goes through Neji's lower right side. Will Neji survive the onslaught?

Ep 118:
Kiba, Shikamaru and Naruto catch up to the rest of the Sound team and Sasuke. Meanwhile Orochimaru's arms are decaying and bleeding. Kabuto says there are many other bodies ready and Orochimaru can also use his. Orochimaru insists on Sasuke but Kabuto says the curse was stronger than expected. Kabuto walks to a large arena where prisoners are held and tells them that the last one standing will be let out. Kabuto wakes Kimimaro, Orochimaru's first choice to be his new container, but is now dying from some disorder. Kimimaro wills himself to get up and help bring back Sasuke.

Ep 119:
Sakon and Kiba and Akamaru fall off a cliff after a trap explodes. Tayuya catches up to Naruto and Shikamaru. Shikamaru tells Naruto to take the barrel and go, but then Kimimaro comes at them from above and grabs the barrel from them. Shikamaru tricks Tayuya and Naruto pursues Kimimaro. Kiba faces off against Sakon, Shikamaru against Tayuya and her three hideous giants, while hundreds of Narutos surround Kimimaro.

Ep 120:
Kimimaro destroys Naruto's clones. Tayuya plays her flute. Main fight is between Kiba and Sakon where Kiba finds that he not only has to fight Sakon, but also his brother Ukon. Luckily, Akamaru even things out.

Ep 121:
Kiba gives a desperate bluff and manages to escape from Sakon/Ukon. Shikamaru continues to run away from the three oni. Kimimaro reveals the powers of his advanced bloodline. Kiba has flashbacks to his training with Akamaru.

Ep 122:
The three oni reveal their hidden power - chakra eating eel-like ghostly creatures. Shikamaru formulates a plan to bind them all. Tayuya counters by going to level 2 of her cursed seal and traps him in an illusion.

Ep 123:
Shikamaru and Tayuya are locked in hand-to-hand combat. Sasuke comes out of the barrel and leaves for Sound Village. Lee shows up to help Naruto. Genma, Raidou and Tsuande talk politics. Lee's skill in Drunken fist is revealed.

Ep 124:
Naruto runs after Sasuke. Lee fights Kimimaro in a hilariously orchestrated near slapstick fight. Kimimaro activates his cursed seal. Sakon/Ukon catch up with Kiba. Tayuya is wining her fight against Shikamaru.

Ep 125:
The three Sand siblings appear right in the nick of time to save the Leaf shinobis. Temari helps out Shikamaru with her big fan. Kankurou helps out Kiba with his puppets. Gaara helps Lee his Sand.

Ep 126:
Gaara and Kimimaro face off. Naruto nearly catches up to Sasuke. Kimimaro has flashbacks to his tragic childhood and his involvement in the Kayuga clan's attack on Hidden Mist Village. He also meets Zabuza, Haku, and Orochimaru.

Ep 127:
Kimimaro has gone to the second stage of his cursed seal. The fight between Gaara and Kimimaru kicks into high gear as each show their advanced techniques. Kimimaro has more flashbacks to his time with Orochimaru.

Ep 128:
Naruto finally catches up with Sasuke. The two face off while standing on top of immense statues on the border of Konoha and Sound Village. Sasuke refuses to return so Naruto decides to bring him back by force. Half of Sasuke's face has the cursed seal marks and he is much more powerful than he was before. Sasuke has flashbacks to his childhood and training with Itachi.

Ep 129:
Naruto and Sasuke continue to fight. Flashback: relationship between Itachi and Sasuke before Sasuke entered the Academy; Itachi was admitted into the Anbu only half a year after becoming a chuunin; Sasuke's feelings of competitiveness. Then Itachi misses a meeting which gets him into trouble with the Uchiha who are investigating the death of Uchiha Shisui.

Ep 130:
Naruto and Sasuke continue to fight. Flashback: Since the day Itachi confronted the Uchiha investigating his friend's death the relationship between Itachi and his father is strained. Their father demonstrates to Sasuke the fireball technique over a lake. The mangekyou sharingan is discussed.

Ep 131:
Naruto and Sasuke continue to fight. Flashback to the day Itachi wipes out his clan and uses his mangekyou sharingan on Sasuke. He tells Sasuke about the clan's Commentary Scroll with the original purpose of the Uchiha Clan's doujutsu and its true secret.

Ep 132:
Kakashi finds out that Tsunade only sent rookies to bring back Sasuke. He sends his nin dogs to track down Naruto and Sasuke. Sasuke's chidori and Naruto's rasengan clash. Naruto flashbacks to when he and Sasuke were kids.

Ep 133:
Fight continues and Sasuke's sharingan changes from two dots to three. He smashes Naruto headfirst into the ground. The demon fox appears to Naruto and the red chakra envelops his body. Naruto becomes foxlike and his chakra also takes the shape of a fox and attacks Sasuke.

Ep 134:
Sasuke goes to cursed seal level two, developing handlike wings. Sasuke's black chidori and Naruto's rasengan causes an explosion. Kakashi and Pakkun finally arrive. They leap down the cliff face to find Naruto's body at The Valley of the End. Sasuke thinks about Itachi's words to kill his best friend in order to awaken the mangekyou sharingan, but decides to obtain power in his own way.

Ep 135:
Kakashi takes Naruto to the hospital. Reports are given on the other genins: Shikamaru had minor injuries, Kiba has a deep wound but life is not in danger, and Neji and Chouji are in critical condition. Shikamaru gets reamed by Temari and his father for being a coward. Jiraiya tells Naruto that he will be training him personally for three years since the Akatsuki will be after him in 3 or 4 years. But Naruto says he doesn't have time to train he needs to bring back Sasuke. Jiraiya thinks back to the time Orochimaru left.
