Ep 180: Secret Technique: Mysterious Peacock Method

Naruto and Neji bring the unconscious star shinobi back to the training grounds.

Sumaru has been taken by Akahoshi and placed in a coma. He dreams of his parents and the third Hoshikage who tells him to be strong like his parents.

Neji looks into the organs of Mizura and sees that his chakra has been increased to his limit and he will be killed by his own chakra. Hokuto explains it’s because of the star training which was banned then reinstated half a year ago by Akahoshi.

Akahoshi attaches something to a bird and infuses it with his chakra. He releases the bird thinking "Recognize my chakra, Natsuhi."

The shinobi who stole the star is a woman. She hides the star in a coffin with its skeleton occupant and thinks "Hotarubi, please protect the star and Sumaru." A huge boulder slides over the hole where the coffin lies. She recognizes Akahoshi's chakra and sends a chakra whip to lasso the bird with the note attached.

The team discusses retrieving the star despite its ill effects. Neji tells Lee and Tenten to check out Akahoshi's place. Neji notes that the one who took Sumaru and the one who stole the star had different chakra levels.

Natsuhi and Akahoshi face off. Natsuhi says he's no match for her but he replies that since she left there were a few shinobi who continued with the star training. Akahoshi calls upon the Peacock technique and then Kemono (beast) and a wolf-like creature of chakra appears. Natsuhi responds in kind and her beast easily wins. Akahoshi calls his two men who then go to get Neji and Naruto for help.

Tenten and Lee scout out the leader's complex. Lee uses Ninpou Kabe-nuke no jutsu (Ninja arts, wall removal technique) and just opens the door. They find Sumaru unconscious.

Akahoshi explains to Natsuhi why he resumed the star training, to have a 100 ninja as skilled as she, they'd be a great military strength. She flies toward him from the other side of the valley but Akahoshi threatens Sumaru. Neji and Naruto arrive and Naruto says he has a plan. Naruto performs Tajuu Kage Bunshin and attack Natsuhi whose chakra takes out all the clones but then Naruto appears down in front of her and lands an uppercut to the jaw. The mask comes off. Akahoshi attacks with the chakra beast regardless of Naruto being next to the woman and they both fall off the cliff into the poisonous ravine.
