175: Dig Here! Bow Wow! Find the Pile of Gold.

Now that Tsunade is known to be the Hokage, Shizune says Konoha has been getting a lot of bills. As Tsuande ponders her dilemma, Naruto is being held by Izumo and Kotetsu as he insists on finding Sasuke.

Later he plays soccer with his kage bunshin but realizes it's pointless. Kiba and Akamaru come by. Kiba says Shino is on a mission with Kurenai and Hinata is training at home, but then Hinata comes running up and says the Hokage wants to see them.

Tsunade sends them on a treasure hunting mission. Her client Kaisen Agari is an old acquaintance. He takes out a treasure maps and says there is a treasure worth a few hundred million, but it is in a place hard for normal humans to enter. Naruto thinks about how many bowls of ramen he can buy with that. Tsunade says they have 3 days and if they succeed then they will get a special reward, otherwise they go back to the academy and start from square one. Their mission success rate for the past few months are bad, especially Naruto. Kiba thinks how his failed missions all involved Naruto.

The three imagine themselves studying among kids when Iruka comes running up. He says if they're feeling nostalgic they can always return, The three run off leaving poor Iruka confused.

Kiba and Naruto continue to bicker as they travel. They come to a dead end and Kiba checks the map and says there's a river nearby and they should cross it but Naruto thinks they should cut straight across the mountain. Kiba sets a large boulder as the goal and he and Akamaru run off. Naruto heads in a different direction and Hinata follows him. The two climb through thorny brush and up a cliff. Naruto falls off into the river. They finally reach the boulder but Kiba has been there a long while and already has food ready for them.

Later Kiba consults the map again and again Naruo says they should just go straight and he starts to climb again and Hinata follows. Later Kiba appears in front of him dangling upside down from a rope and offers him water. Later, Naruto and Hinata reach a field of flowers where Kiba has been taking a nap.

As the three continue, Hinata feels that they are being followed. When the team reaches a stalactite cave Kiba checks the map and says it should be further away but Naruto insists this must be it. He and Hinata enter the cave but come to a dead end. A camouflaged figure hanging on the ceiling throws a kunai and causes stalactites to fall down on Naruto and Hinata but Kiba and Akamaru transforme to saved them. Naruto asks if someone is trying to stop them but Kiba says Akamaru didn't smell any people. Hinata's leg is injured and she's concerned about slowing them down. Kiba blames Naruto and says he and Akamaru will go find the treasure while Naruto stays with Hinata.

Two figures appear and throw smoke bombs, Naruto finds himself tied up with two Hinatas! Naruto can't tell the difference but then thinks to ask them "What's Hinata's dad's name?" They both answer Hyuuga Hiashi at the same time. Naruto realizes he doesn't know his name anyway and wishes Kiba and Akamaru were there so they could tell which is the real one by smell.

A voice announces that it would be impossible for a human to tell the difference. Agari the client says it's not a regular transformation technqiue. Another Naruto appears behind him. They plan to copy Kiba's face as well.

Kiba and Akamaru enter the correct cave and find box. Naruto and Hinata fakes appear. Kiba is suspicious they they were able to get there so quickly without a map since Naruto has zero sense of direction, and Hinata's leg is injured. but Akamaru is not suspicious. Kiba gets knocked out and thrown into the hole.

He wakes to find himself tied up and with Hinata and Naruto. One of the bad guys dressed as Kiba but wearing a blank mask appears next to Kiba and uses Kao Utsushi no Jutsu (face copying technique). The technique requires close contact and takes a long time but even family can't tell the difference. It is a completely flawless transformation technique. The blank mask falls off to reveal a perfect copy of Kiba. The Kedoui clan have the secret ability of copying faces. They plan top return to Konoha and mess it up.
