Ep 142: The Evil Trio of the High Security Installation

Naruto unwraps the bandages from his hand, flexes his fingers and is ready to train. Sakura practices being a medic on a fish. Shino walks along with Kiba because he wants to know about the mission as part of teamwork. Kiba thinks he's just mad because he was left out. Neji trains with Hiashi while Hinata looks on. Kiba and Shino arrive to pick up Hinata to meet Kurenai. Choji eats Korean barbecue for breakfast while Asuma and Ino look on. Ino comments that Choji looked pretty good when he was thinner. Lee continues training while Gai lies exhausted on the ground and Tenten is trying to catch her breath. The Sand siblings say goodbye to the Academy students including Konohamaru and his friends. Shikamaru is now an Academy instructor. Kurenai and her team start training and Hinata thinks "I won't lose to you Naruto-kun."

Naruto is packed and is ready to go. But Jiraiya says he has to work (mission to collect info on the Akatsuki) and gives Naruto a scroll with a special training schedule and tells him not to open it in public. Then Jiraiya rushes off. Naruto locks himself in the bathroom and unfurls the scroll. It's completely blank except for two characters at the end "guts." Shizune comes in with a stack of reports for Tsunade. She picks up one titled Konoha's Strict Correctional Facility. It used to be called Special Ninja Felony Prison. Cut to the prison where prisoners are digging. Two big fat brothers Fuujin and Raijin are looking forward to food. One prisoner with grey hair takes a screwdriver and hides it in his sleeve. The guard grabs his arm but just tells him to have his injury checked at the infirmary.

The brother with no beard wonders why the pinky is so short and weak. His brother said if the pinky were thick and strong there would be no position for the thumb. They're still hungry and bend the bars of the prison to look for food. They come upon Kotetsu who doesn't have any food and the brothers start to get mad. Izumo appears and tosses them some buns and promises more later. The two brothers return to their cell but smell food and follow the scent instead.

A slip of paper falls out of one of the reports and catches Tsuande's attention. Shizune says it looks like a medical requisition. Tsunade orders Shizune to request that all available jouinin come right away. She takes out a report titled Ninja school Teacher, Confidential Information, Attempted Bribery Incident Report.

The two brothers sit in the cell of the gray haired prisoner eating lots of buns. He promises them better food if they go to a person he's known for a long time (Orochimaru).

Naruto eats ramen with Iruka while complaining about Jiraiya. Iruka says it must be important if Tsunade asked Jiraiya to handle it. Naruto runs off saying he's going to complain to Tsunade.

Asuma sees a message bird and says something bad is about to happen again. Kurenai sees the bird and thinks it's a special observation mission. In Tsunade's office, Asuma comments that the report is from a year ago when a chuunin from the Academy used Naruto to try to acquire the sealed scroll. Kurenai says Mizuki acted alone and the incident was closed. But Tsunade says there is evidence that a greater conspiracy exists and shows them the paper that Mizuki tried to sneak into the prison. She says it is similar to the materials confiscated from Orochimaru when he was performing tests on humans. She says the sealed scroll would do nothing for a chuunin, but if Orochimaru were pulling strings from the background, then it's a different story. She orders them to go to the facility and interrogate Mizuki.Naruto has been listening in outside of her door.

Kurenai and Asuma cross the drawbridge to get to the facility. They're both suspicious because it's too quiet. They're met by the legendary "Stupid Brothers." They're prepared to fight when they notice all the prisoners have been released! Mizuki appears. Asuma says even his personality has been completely changed. The brothers attack.

Naruto arrives to find Kurenai and Asuma down on the ground but still alive.

Review: Most interesting idea for a filler arc so far, but the stupid brothers are lame.

Notes:

Tenten has a silly smile on while watching Lee who looks very buff.

Stupid brothers:

The one with the beard is the big brother Fuujin.They murdered their comrades for food.

Fujin (number 13) = god of wind

Raijin (number 12) = god of lightning

Thoughts:

Touji Mizuki is apparently older than the two brothers based on the address.

Always wondered what Mizuki was going to do with that scroll. He doesn't have enough chakra to do the jutsus.
