Naruto Shippuuden Special - Part 2

The red chakra surrounds fox-Naruto. He jumps around looking for Deidara. The Naruto clones double over in pain. Two tails appear from the red chakra and the chakra takes the shape of the fox - the demon fox cloak. Kakashi flashbacks to Jiraiya telling him to stop it at one tail. Naruto smashes through a line of trees. The clone by Kakashi disappears. Kakashi leaps toward Naruto who Naruto attacks him. Jiraiya had given Kakashi a seal (suppress) but he needs to get close. Kakashi manages to stick it on Naruto's forehead protector.

Sakura and Chiyo arrive. Deidara is shocked they beat Sasori. Deidara is about to leave but he's found by team Gai. Deidara fights them with just a kunai in his mouth. He realizes he can't outrun them and heads toward his fallen bird. Kakashi warns Team Gai that Deidara is a long range fighter who attacks with explosives.

Deidara takes a bite of the clay bird and swallows the clay. He blows up like a balloon. Neji sees he is concentrating chakra in a one spot and calls out for every to get away. A massive explosion occurs. Doesn't look like Team Gai will get away in time, but then the air distorts and the explosion is sent to another dimension. Kakashi collapses from exhaustion.

Sakura checks on Gaara and shakes her head. Naruto breaks down part in sorrow and part in fury. Chiyo tells him to calm down, but he rails on her and blames the Sand for putting the demon in Gaara. Chiyo kneels by Gaara. She transfers her own chakra into him. Sakura calls out to her but she just smiles in return.

End: Kakashi gives a lesson on shinobi world history: Kyuubi's attack, the fourth hokage and Naruto. Naruto sleeps through Kakashi's lecture.

Review: Yea, everyone's together again.

Notes: The seal was able to suppress the demon fox at two tails.

Thoughts: Team Gai could not easily take down armless Deidara. Either Deidara's really really strong or Team Gai is exhausted.
