Ep 3: Results of Training

Naruto and Sakura face off against Kakashi. Naruto throws shuriken at Kakashi who dodges low and throws shuriken in return. Naruto leaps into the air and creates clones to help the real Naruto maneuver in midair to avoid more shuriken. One clone transforms into a large shurkien. Kakashi grabs Naruto from behind, but another Naruto clone appears behind him with a kunai at his back. Kakashi says Naruto has matured but he's still impatient since Kakashi hasn't said start yet. After Kakashi says start, he disappears.

In Sand Village, dead guards abound. Yuura greets Sasori. His memories have returned and he is back to being Sasori's loyal subordiante. Sasori and Deidara enter the village. Deidara's hand spits out some clay and he molds it into a little bird which becomes big after he performs a seal. Deidara rides on the bird to attack the village from above.

Sakura looks around for Kakashi then punches the ground causing a massive crack to form. Kakashi comes out from hiding.

Deidara counts the guards below. There are three watching the skies. He takes out a few spider like clay figures.

Kakashi runs into the trees and hides. With his sharingan, he finds Naruto and Sakura. (flashbacks) Kunai fly toward Kakashi. He and Naruto leap toward each other, clashing kunai. Kakashi announces shinobi tactical knowledge #1 Taijutsi. He fights Naruto and Sakura hand to hand and neither can land a punch on him. Kakashi then uses shadow dance on Naruto's clones. Naruto comes up from behind and attacks with hidden taijutsu ougi, sennen goroshi (a 1000 years of pain), but Kakashi easily jumps out of the way. Sakura attacks but misses and breaks a tree behind him. (flashbacks) Naruto creates mass shadow clones, and hundreds of clones attack, but Kakashi takes them out first with just taijutsu. Sakura smashes the ground again, destroying clones while Kakashi is unaffected.

Clay spiders crawl onto the Sand guards, attacking their faces. Then they explode!

Naruto and Sakura see Sasuke impaled with kunai, saying he escaped from Orochimaru. But they know it's genjustu. Sakura dispells it and sees Kakashi behind a tree. Naruto attacks with rasengan, destroying trees but missing Kashishi again. Sakura requests Kakashi to announce Shinobi Tactical Knowledge #2 - Genjutsu. (flashbacks) Naruto sees the bells on the floor and gets caught in the trap when he tries to grab them, but he's a clone. Real Naruto comes up from behind to attack Kakadhi, but it's a Kakashi clone!
Deidara lands on top of a building to find Gaara waiting for him.

End: Tsunade narrates ANBU's investigative report on Akatsuki - mysterious organization of shinobi who abandoned their village for a larger goal.

Notes:
sennen goroshi -a 1000 years of pain
Sakura focus chakra into fists and releases it all at once, requires precise chakra control. Kakashi notes she was originally a genjutsu type and may become a better kunoichi than the Fifth.
Deidara address Sasori as Master Sasori and uses "hmm" a lot.

Thoughts:
During the end narration, Tsunade says Itachi and Kisame were defeated by three of our best jounin - Asuma, Kurenai and Kakashi. Not true! Gai should get credit for that one.
