Ep 26: Ten Puppets vs. One Hundred Puppets

Chiyo and Sakura hide behind boulders as Sasori shoots out flames. Chiyo leaps in the air and appears to be hit by flames but it was a replacement brick. She attaches chakra strings to the Kazekage puppet head to attack Sasori but Sasori destroys it in midair. Sasori continues to use flames against the rocks then activates a scroll to shoot water. The rocks splinter apart. Then he narrows the stream of water to be able to cut through rock. Then from his intestines, Sasori shoots out a rope with a blade and injures Sakura. She grabs onto the rope and pulls him back from attacking Chiyo. She manages to punch Sasori into pieces but Sasori reforms. Chiyo recovers her puppet arm and empties out the iron sand. She takes out a scroll from her hip pack and says that she forbade herself from using this technique. She never thought she would need it again. She unfurls her scroll and summons ten puppets.

Sasori takes out a scroll from his back and shoots out many chakra strings from his chest. Puppets pring from the scroll. These hundred puppets are what he used to conquer a nation. Chiyo tells Sakura not to fight since her antidote is no longer working but Sakura is determined. The hundred puppets attack from the air individually while a couple of Chiyo's puppets join together for attacks. Sakura also smashes the puppets.

Chiyo has three special puppets that form a triangle and perform seals. Each has a character inside the mouth for: Buddhist, Law, and Monk, when combined they form the Doctrine of the Buddha. They attack with Sanbou Kyuukai (Buddha's Three Treasures Vacuum Destruction) which sucks many of the puppets to them but there are too many and her puppets are taken out. Sakura leads a bunch of puppets into a narrow opening and destroys a several of them all at once. Chiyo notes that Sasori's puppets are decreasing but he is focusing more on the remaining puppets.

One puppet manages to cut Chiyo, but she tells Sakura to attack Sasori while she uses her puppets to hold the rest back. She throws Sakura a disc which Sakura uses to seal Sasori against the cavern wall. It looks like the fight is over since the seal completely suppresses chakra. Chiyo kneels to the ground as the poison takes effect. Sakura runs toward her as she sees Sasori is still alive and is about to run Chiyo through with the sword. Sakura takes the hit instead.

End: Female Ninja Diaries narrated by Kakashi as an assignment for Sakura and Naruto. Sakura reports on weapons expert Tenten, Kakashi on genjutsu expert Kurenai, Naruto is about to talk about his sexy jutsu and is about to show his new powered up pervert ninjutsu. Kakashi gets excited and eggs him on but Sakura punches him so hard he ends up flying 387 meters away!

Review: Quantity over quality. Sasori’s puppets are not impressive.

Thoughts:
The hundred puppets were probably used to conquer a nonshinobi nation. Just two shinobi took them out!
