Ep 161: A Welcome Visitor Arrives; The Green Beast?
The Carnivore? The Welcomed Beast?

Gai and Lee go off on a mission as two guys watch from a tree. The branch snaps and they fall to the ground. They disguise themselves as Gai and Lee to infiltrate Konoha. They look around for the Hokage’s building but then Kakashi surprises them. They introduce themselves as Gai and Lee but Kakashi thinks there’s something different about them. They trick Kakashi into looking for a bird then run away.

Mondai and Poccha congratulate each other on successfully infiltrating Konoha. Kakashi watches from a tree then reports it to Tsuande. She decides to leave them alone for now since there’s no way anyone would fall for their impersonation.

Naruto begs the impersonators to allow him to train with them. They try to tell him it’s too difficult but that just makes Naruto more determined. Naruto suddenly uses kage bunshin and then harem no jutsu! They agree to train.
Tenten catches up with them and reminds them they’re supposed to be at the farm house. Mondai, Poccha and Naruto plant the fields and are attacked by leeches. Then they carry buckets of fertilizer but Naruto spills his onto them. As they wash up by the river Sakura comes by. She asks them to retrieve her laundry from on top of a cliff. The two fake ninjas have a hard time climbing but Naruto uses his chakra. Then they tell Naruto that it’s training so Naruto climbs the normal way. They catch hold of the sheet but the winds blows them away and they crash land.

Next Tsunade wants them to care for Katsuya who has a cold. She sneezes acid toward them and destroys the trees behind them then dissembles and falls on top of them. They decide to leave and run into the real Gai and Lee. They attack but Lee and Gai kick them into the sky. The two regret ever coming to Konoha. Tsunade, Shizune, Sakura and Tenten look on.

Naruto runs up to the real Gai and Lee and tells them how cool they are and how he wants to continue taijutsu training.

Review: Slightly amusing, at least Kakashi’s got a bit of screen time.

Notes: Lots of cameos from various dead and alive characters.
