Ep 157: Run! It’s the Curry of Life!

Lee is still standing and explains how he’s doing this for Gai sensei. Raiga uses a new attack Rairyuu no Tatsumaki: lightning dragon technique and a huge dragon rises from a spinning tornado. Meanwhile Karashi with a big pot of curry, his mom, and Tenten with Ranmaru on her back run toward them.

Lee gets shocked and falls down the mountain. The others find him. While Tenten and Karashi tend to Naruto and Neji, the old lady and Ranmaru feed Lee curry with a ladle. Lee suddenly gets up and starts eating a lot of curry by himself directly from the pot. Tenten feeds curry to Naruto who wakes shooting flames. Karashi wakes Neji, feeds him curry but Neji falls unconscious again with blood dripping from his mouth!

After eating lots of curry, Lee starts to act strangely. When they made the curry, a bottle of wine fell in.

Ranmaru appears to Raiga who picks him up and puts him on his shoulder. Ranmaru creates a fog around Raiga and tells him everyone is dead. He plans to direct Raiga off a cliff so that they both die for their sins. But drunk Lee appears and challenges Raiga before he steps off. After attacking, Lee gets sick. Raiga sends lightning attacks from his sword but Lee sways to avoid them then lands a kick. Ranmaru falls off the cliff but Naruto saves him. Raiga’s furious and uses Ninpou: Raigeki no Yoroi: Ninja Art, Lightning Armor. Raiga is covered in light. He and Lee run toward each other and both get knocked back. Raiga gets up to finish off Lee but Ranmaru and Naruto appear in front of Lee to protect him. Ranmaru asks Raiga to eat the curry of life and stop hurting people. Raiga charges up to attack Ranmaru but Naruto steps in front of Ranmaru. Naruto performs the seals for Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and hundreds of Naruto clones appear.

Meanwhile Tenten tries feeding curry to Neji again. This time Neji turns bright red and faints again.

Naruto defends Ranmaru then asks again about Kisame. Raiga replies agai how he hates all of the other swordsman. Raiga powers up and sends lightning through the runnels in the earth destroying most of the clones. Narutos appear from above announcing Bunshin Kaiten Kakatou to Shin (clone rotation army strike formation) and land several kicks to Raiga’s head and shoulders. Then Naruto uses Bunshin Tai Tatakai:Clone Body Attack and headbutts him in the gut then uppercuts to the jaw, knocking Raiga off the cliff.

Karashi directs Ranmaru on making curry while the team gets ready to leave for Konoha. The old lady tries to make them stay for more curry (a special red spicy version) but Naruto and Neji drag Lee away.

Review: At least this arc is finally over.

Thoughts:
Ranmaru did not afford Raiga a chance to redeem himself. He was just going to kill him and himself by walking off the cliff.

Neji must have ulcers from the first time he ate curry in order to bleed like that!
